SUMMER RUN CLUB

WHAT: Summer is where champions are made! Join the Without Limits Triangle Summer Run Club for an amazing opportunity to train for 8-weeks alongside dedicated athletes and under the guidance of some of the best running coaches in the Triangle area. With options for athletes ranging from 4th to 12th grade, of all skill levels, this program is designed to help athletes develop a love for running and lay the foundation for successful cross country seasons. Over the past several years, countless athletes have thrived in our program, with many top distance runners in the area crediting their success to the support and training received here. Come join us!

Typical workouts include:

  • Fun team games that the kids love

  • Dynamic warmups & stretching

  • Form & speed drills

  • Variety of run workouts

  • Daily core & strength work

  • In addition to workouts/practices, we also do regular team socials/hangouts & races throughout the summer.

WHEN: June 2 - August 1

While we encourage consistency, daily participation is not required. We understand summer can be busy with travel and other activities so runners are welcome to join workouts as often as they can fit them into their schedules depending on which option they sign up for (see options below). As usual, we will offer two options: Track+Trail Days & Track Days Only.

Note: There will be no practice week of (July 20 - July 25) because we will be at the WOL XC Camp in Banner Elk .

SCHEDULE & LOCATIONS:

For the first couple of weeks our schedule will be modified to accommodate for athletes school schedule. Our Track days will be Tuesday and Thursdays at 5:30 PM and our Trail Days will be Monday & Wednesdays at 4:45 PM. However, starting June 16 we will switch our Track Days to Monday & Wednesdays at 6:00 PM. We will also switch our Trail Days to Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays at 7:00-8:30 AM.

June 2 - June 13 (Pre Summer)

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays (Track Days)

  • 5:30–7:00 PM (Practices will rotate between Mills Park and Martin Middle)

  • Mondays, Wednesdays (Trail Days)

  • 4:45-6:15 PM (American Tobacco Trail White Oak Church Entrance)

June 16 - August 1

  • Mondays & Wednesday (Track Days)

    6:00-7:30 PM (Track Day Practices will rotate between Mills Park and Martin Middle)

  • Trail Days: Tuesday, Thursday, & Fridays (Trail Days)

    7:00-8:30 AM (Trail Day Practices will rotate between American Tobacco Trail White Oak Church Entrance & Umstead Park Old Reedy Creek Trailhead Entrance)
